LCISD will be participating in the “See to Succeed” Vision Program again this year. Briscoe students are scheduled to go on Thursday, November 5, 2026. We are only able to take 60 students per campus, so the first 60 students to return the completed permission packet will go. Packets are available for students to pick up in the Nurse’s Office. 

The completed packet will be due back to Nurse Walker by Friday, October 2, 2026. 

 Packets will not be accepted after this date.

This will be a Field Trip event and includes a Free Eye Exam and a Free Pair of Glasses if needed. (even if they already have a pair of glasses, they can still attend and receive another pair of glasses). Any student who has failed a vision exam is eligible for the Free Exam/Glasses.  Regardless of insurance coverage, there is no insurance information required, and insurance will not be billed. 

Keep in mind before you sign up and take one of the 60 spots that this is an all-day event. Your student will get on the bus during 1st period and return around 7th period. They will be “Excused”, and this absence will have no bearing on their Exemption Eligibility or Attendance, but they will miss their classes that day. Our teachers understand what a great opportunity this is and are always willing to work with our students who attend.
