🎭 Briscoe Theater Company Fundraiser! 🎭
Hello, parents and students!
The Briscoe Theater Company is hosting an in-school performance of our 40-minute UIL One-Act Play, The Girl in the White Pinafore, as a fundraiser!
About the Show: Written by Jiggs Burgess, The Girl in the White Pinafore explores the tragic aftermath of the 1937 New London School explosion in Texas. Rather than a traditional ghost story, this powerful drama delves into themes of grief, guilt, and forgiveness. Amelia must learn to forgive Shaw for his role in the tragedy while also finding a way to forgive herself for the mistakes she made on that fateful day.
🎟️ In-School Performance Tickets: $5 cash
Tickets will be sold on Tuesdays and Thursdays this week and next week during the first 15 minutes of all lunch periods.
📅 In-School Performance Date: November 10th
Students who purchase a ticket will get to enjoy the performance during the school day!
- 7th Grade: 3rd period
- 8th Grade: 6th period
🎭 PUBLIC PERFORMANCE FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
While the in-school performance is just for students, we would also love to invite all parents, family members , friends and teachers to come support our cast at our public performance on November 6th at 8:00 PM at Foster High School Theater!
🎟️ Tickets are $5 at the door. Teachers get in free just show your ID.
This performance is especially important because it will be our cast's final run-through before UIL competition on November 7th! Your support and encouragement would mean so much to our students as they prepare to take the stage for competition.
Please join us, cheer on our talented theater students, and help us send them into competition feeling confident and supported!
Thank you for supporting the Briscoe Theater Company! We hope to see you there! ❤️🎭
